General Counsel

“The power of art is beyond measure.”

Where Dominique got her girl power: Dominique is an attorney with more than 20 years of experience representing artists, arts organizations, labor unions, and non-profit organizations, including serving as General Counsel for the American Federation of Television and Artists. She is also an officer and member of the Board of Directors of the Red Hook Initiative, a community organization empowering teens in the Red Hook neighborhood of Brooklyn.

How Dominique has been staging the revolution: In addition to providing legal representation to artists, Dominique is the Co-Founder of Cumbe: Center for African and Diaspora Dance, a dance and drumming studio and performance space in Brooklyn and is a member of the Advisory Board of Chicken and Egg Pictures, a non-profit film production company that supports women filmmakers in using non-fiction film and dynamic storytelling to catalyze change at home and around the globe.

When Dominique isn’t staging the revolution she relaxes with her family and friends in Brooklyn.
