Where Jen got her girl power: Jen is a management professional and master facilitator with over 20 years experience in the public, nonprofit and private sectors. Jen received her B.A. from the University of Delaware and her Masters in Public Policy from Georgetown University. Prior to joining Girl Be Heard, Jen was with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) for almost 15 years, starting as a Presidential Management Fellow in the Office of the Chief Financial Officer and culminating as the Senior Program Analyst and Acting Comptroller in the Office of Policy and Management.
How Jen has been staging the revolution: Jen serves as Executive Director of Manhattan Theatre Source and Executive Producer of the EstroGenius Festival, a multi-disciplinary women’s arts festival (and birthplace of Girl Be Heard!) which celebrated its 15th year in 2014. Jen has also worked at The Brookings Institution, Resources for the Future and Greenpeace and worked for the U.S. Senate on a 4-month assignment that commenced September 11th, 2001.
When Jen isn’t staging the revolution she can be found in Hoboken with her husband Jesse and 2 furkids, Alobar and Hannah.
