Lily, Director of Development & Community Partnerships, is a writer, civil rights advocate, and attorney. She leads Girl Be Heard’s Development Department, managing all aspects of fundraising and partnership building. Prior to GBH, Lily was the Lead Writer at the Hedge Fund Law Report, an Associate at Dewey & LeBoeuf LLP, Of Counsel at South Brooklyn Legal Services, a Fellow at Earthjustice, and Legal Fellow at the Guangzhou Arbitration Commission. Lily serves on the Steering Committee of the Asian Women Giving Circle, is an Aspen Institute Scholar, an inaugural member of the Omega Institute Juno Leadership Collective, and former Board Member of the Chinese American Education Association of California. Lily has also served as a grant review panelist for the City of New York and the Asian Women Giving Circle. She received a JD from NYU School of Law, and BAs in Philosophy and Political Science from UC Irvine. She lives in Park Slope, Brooklyn with her husband and two children, Samantha and Thomas. Samantha, 5 years old, is already a social justice theatre diva.
